Fans of Just Cause 2 will undoubtedly have rather fond memories of the Mile High Club. This nightclub that traveled over the world 24/7 was the go to spot when you wanted to let loose, grab a cold one, and toss people off of a blimp. When Just Cause 3 was announced a few fans hoped that it would make a return or at least have some sort of easter egg in Avalanche’s latest game. Maybe we should have been careful what we wished for.
Head to the northern coast of Maestrale which can be found on the west side of Insula Striate (the northern most island). When you get there, search the beach around where the character indicator is located on the above map. It is here that the easter egg can be found but, I warn you, it isn’t a pleasant one.
The very same Mile High Club from the last game is here, only it’s no longer functioning. It’s rusted over as its debris from a horrible crash sits here on the beach. How did it get here? Â Did it run out of juice and plummet to the Earth’s surface? Did Di Ravello’s men shoot it down? Your guess is as good as mine, all I do know is that this is definitely a sad day.
Are you outraged at the condition of the coolest nightclub in video game history? Wish it would take to the skies once more? Feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
