Don't drain this Swamp.

Injustice 2 boasts a range of DC Comics characters, from Atrocitus of the Red Lanterns to Black Canary. The newest character to join is Swamp Thing, created by a variety of comics creators including Len Wein and Alan Moore. In this video, you’ll see how he fights, and it certainly is…something, that’s for sure.

In comics, the Swamp Thing is Dr. Alec Holland, a frequent friend and ally of John Constantine. His connection to The Green–a sort of plant based life force in the DC universe–gives him control over plant life, superhuman strength, and a vegetation body that allows him to stretch it and do all sorts of freaky stuff with it. In the universe of Injustice 2, this extends to creating copies of himself, diving underground to pop back up and attack enemies by surprise, and protecting himself with thorns. His super move will definitely make you rethink trying to fight him.

Injustice 2 (and Swamp Thing) comes to the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16.
