On the official Arc System Works website, the developers announced that BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will have a base roster of 20 fighters, with 20 more characters getting added via DLCs. The first DLC fighter announced is Blade Belladonna from RWBY, which is an essential addition considering there are only two characters from RWBY in the base game.

Below is the DLC plan of Arc System Works:

  • DLC Character: Blake Belladonna
  • DLC Characters Set Vol. 1: ???, ???, and ???

  • DLC Characters Set Vol. 4: ???, ???, and ???
  • DLC Characters Set Vol. 5: ???, ???, and ???
