FIFA 18 was released in late September and has proven to be a big hit with soccer fans around the globe. A recently released patch has been put out for the game which doesn’t do a lot top change the game but does fix one bug in particular.
It had been possible to exploit the AI by shielding the ball in a corner which would prompt the NPC players to foul you. This made it easier to win the match and earn rewards. The new patch fixes this issue and means that you will no longer be able to get an easy win.
The full patch notes have been released on easports.com and states the patch has “removed the chance for the CPU AI controlled player to receive a second yellow card when trying to push or pull an opponent, with the exception of an attacker who is through on goal and 1 on 1 with the keeper.”
No doubt players who like a fair game will be pleased at the update but less scrupulous players may not! FIFA 18 is available now for consoles and PC.
