Fallout 4: How to Get All Items and Collectibles in the Secret Dev Test Area

Behold. The tilde.

Adorable, yes, but also powerful. With it, you can access every weapon, collectible, piece of armor, consumable, etc. in Fallout 4. How’s it work? Press the tilde to open a command prompt, and type in “coc qasmoke” into console. This command will send you to a secret dev playpen, complete with every Fallout 4 item, different crafting stations, and even a floating orb. Because it isn’t a dream-scape wonderland without some sort of mysterious orb.

Bobbleheads, consumables, holotape games, you name it, and you can find it here. You can even jump into Power Armor and teleport out of the dev zone, bringing it and any other item you picked up back into the game with you.

This only works on the PC version of Fallout 4, because your console controller has no tilde, and a small part of me hopes you’re looking for one there anyway.

Of course, you don’t have to romp around the QA test room, and if you want to check it out but keep your hands to yourself, all the power to you. Remember, using console commands can cause unwanted side effects, like preventing achievements during your play session. Use the tilde force responsibly.

To leave the zone, enter a “coc [destination]” command to teleport away.
