Make Your Own Yarny With This Tutorial From Unravel’s Creator

It's actually pretty simple.
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

The humble Martin Sahlin melted gamers’ hearts everywhere during last year’s EA when he took to the stage to reveal Unravel, and his good friend and the game’s protagonist, Yarny. The adorable little red guy has since made quite a presence online, showing off his adventures at E3, as well as his various adventures throughout the world. We even got to watch his relax in front of a fire for an hour around the holidays.

One might think that Yarny would make the perfect piece of Unravel merchandise to cash in on, but that doesn’t feel like the Martin Sahlin way. No, true to form, the genuine man has come out and released a step-by-step tutorial so you can make your very own Yarny. Check out the video guide below, or if you prefer, there are also images and written instructions on the Unravel website.

Create your very own Yarny to accompany you on your adventures through Unravel when it launches in under a month, on Feb. 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Feel free to share your creations with us on Twitter, and remember that now you’ll have an amazing and simple Halloween costume ready for later in the year.
