Call of Duty: WWII was released in early November and saw the series abandon the futuristic setting it has been exploring for the past few years in favor of a return to its roots via a World War II setting. The game has clearly been a hit with gamers as the game went straight to the top spot of the UK game charts upon its release and has remained there ever since.
There has been plenty of fierce competition from the likes of Star Wars Battlefront II and FIFA 18, but Call of Duty has managed to remain on top. FIFA 18 is in second whilst Gran Turismo: Sport is in third. Star Wars Battlefront II is in fourth and Assassin’s Creed: Origins brings up the rear in fifth. The top 20 are as follows:
- Call of Duty: WWII
- FIFA 18
- Gran Turismo: Sport
- Star Wars Battlefront II
- Assassin’s Creed: Origins
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Forza Motorsport 7
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Knowledge is Power
- WWE 2K18
- Need for Speed Payback
- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2
- Hidden Agenda
- Just Dance 2018
- The Sims 4
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2
- Forza Horizon 3
No particularly high profile games are set to be released this week but the PlayStation 4 version of Dead Rising 4 is set to be launched. Will that be enough to shake up the charts? Will Call of Duty remain on top until 2018?
