Star Wars Battlefront’s Darth Vader Is Having a Bad Day

NOOOOOooooooOooooo!!
This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

One of fall’s biggest releases, Star Wars Battlefront is currently going through an open beta on Xbox One, PC, and Playstation 4. While testing the game out, players can acquire the hero power up on the battlefield. Gamers can either try out Luke Skywalker or the big bad himself — Darth Vader. Battlefront players are finding out the hard way, that being an iconic Star Wars hero doesn’t mean you’re invulnerable.

There’s plenty of hazards for not only regular troops on Hoth but also these powerful heroes. From stampeding AT-ATs, random turret fire, and flybys by the occasional Snowspeeder. As you can see from the video from One Hat Pat’s YouTube channel, Darth Vader’s massive obsidian helmet is a great target.

Poor Anakin Skywalker, if being roasted alive on Mustafar wasn’t enough, he now has to watch out for crazy Rebel pilots. It even seems like Darth Vader’s bad luck rubbed off on Luke Skywalker, father like son! Just because you have a lightsaber, doesn’t exactly mean you’re untouchable it seems.

Star Wars Battlefront gets unleashed on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17. Until then, hopefully all Jedis and Sith watch their heads from now on.
