Rise of the Tomb Raider was a big timed console exclusive for Xbox One during the holiday of 2015. Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix announced today that the game would soon be coming to PC as well on January 28. The game will support 4K resolution for “stuning new detail” as well.
Square Enix has also released some information on the upcoming PC version including the minimum system requirements.
PC Minimum Specifications:
- OS: Windows 7 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 650 2 GB or AMD HD7770 2 GB
- RAM: 6 GB
- HD Space: 25 GB
- DirectX: DirectX 11
- Input: Mouse + Keyboard
The game will be released in through both physical and digital retailers including Steam, Windows Store and Square Enix’s own online store. The standard version of the game will run $60 while a Digital Deluxe Edition — which comes with the DLC Season Pass — will run $90.
Additionally a special Collector’s Edition will be available, that comes with the Digital Deluxe version and a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case. This edition will be available on Square Enix’s store for $150.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently available for Xbox One, and Microsoft recently announced that the game has sold “well over” 1 million copies. The game is a timed exclusive for Xbox, and will be hitting the PlayStation 4 at some point later in 2016.
