Target may have accidentally leaked the release date for Homefront: The Revolution via information on their pre-order reservation cards – according to a post on neogaf.
As the picture below displays, the release date is stated as May 17, 2016. The information is on both Target’s information at the bottom and the main picture of the game, with makes it unlikely to be an accident.
Publisher Deep Silver is yet to announce the game’s release date after delaying it early last year. However, they did say a beta would be released in early 2016, although a specific date is yet to be revealed.
The middle of May could be a good time for the game to release as it would avoid the huge games out between February and April. The title with the closest confirmed release date is Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, which is due to release the following week, 24 May.
Do you think this would be a good time for Homefront: The Revolution to release? Let us know in the comments.
