Simply head to the game’s Steam store page and click on the “Install Game” button to start downloading the 13.5 GB beta. The open beta ends on Wednesday, July 5. This is not the first test for the game, as it had a private alpha test last year and a closed beta last March.

According to a press release, the beta includes a new mode called Uplink where two teams capture the uplink at the center of the map to protect it for points and Vertigo, a new map set in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Players can also test the weapon stickers customization feature and earn a special sticker for completing five matches during the beta, which carries over to the full game.

While the open beta is only available on PC, LawBreakers was recently announced for the PlayStation 4 as well. Both versions are launching on Aug. 8 for $29.99 or $39.99 for the Deadzo Deluxe Edition. The deluxe edition includes digital customization options, such as skins for weapons and characters, weapon stickers, and an exclusive account portrait. The game will also receive all future characters, maps, and modes for free.
