Fingers crossed.

Xbox head Phil Spencer has had quite a week. It all started off on Monday with the news of Platinum’s Scalebound’s cancellation, and since then, he’s been promising that the game’s end was for the betterment of the gamers. Many are concerned about other Xbox One games due out this year, specifically Crackdown 3. Fortunately, Spencer was able to provide some positive news on the upcoming open world game, along with the reboot of Phantom Dust.

Originally scheduled to arrive last year, Crackdown 3 was delayed to this year so Reagent Games could work on the single player. News on the game since the delay has been straight up nonexistent, so it’s good that Spencer was able to assuage fears about the game. As for Phantom Dust, he says that that’s also coming along rather nicely.

As far as when we’ll get to see either Crackdown 3 or Phantom Dust, Mr. Phil Spencer didn’t say. E3 2017 is the most likely answer, but before that? Who knows.
