Today Sega released a large batch of screenshots of the upcoming Yakuza 4 remaster for PS4.

We get to see the fighting style of the four protagonists. Veterans of the series know that besides traditional hero Kazuma Kiryu, this time around we have three additional tough guys: Shun Akiyama, Masayoshi Tanimura, and Taiga Saejima.

Each has his own way of fighting, and his own brutal heat actions. Those are basically the staple of all Yakuza games, and they’re not going anywhere. The system that allows you to learn moves from events you see on the street also makes a comeback, even if different characters have different ways to do it (And Taiga’s Saejima’s way is absolutely hilarious).

Last, but not least, we see the masters from which our heroes will learn their sleek moves.

You can check out all the screenshots below. All the Yakuza games that were released originally on PS3 are PS4 bound, with Yakuza 3 already released in Japan, Yakuza 4 coming on January 19th, and 5 launching sometime in the spring.

We’re still waiting for a possible localization announcement. Hopefully, it’ll come soon, and you’ll be able to read about it here on Twinfinite as soon as it happens.
