The news were shared by Xbox division head on Phil Spencer that took to Twitter to announce that in 24 hours more new console sold in more countries than ever before.

It’ll be interesting to see if we’ll get more specific numbers over the next few days. Microsoft has been especially stingy in terms of info on specific units shipped or sold during the past generation, so we’ll have to wait and see.
