World of Warships Pays Homage to Bismark with Sabaton Music Video; Teases New Ship

May 27 will mark the 78th anniversary of the sinking of the mighty battleship Bismark, and World of Warships is paying homage through a collaboration with Swedish power metal band Sabaton.

The Falun-based band and Wargaming worked together on a music video for Sabaton’s new song aptly titled “Bismark.”

The video, directed by Golden Lion winner Matthias Hoene, features assets from the game, and interestingly we learn that it features a ship that will soon be implemented in World of Warships.

Of course, Bismark has been in the game for a while as a Tier VIII battleship, so it’s likely that the upcoming ship is the other protagonist of the story, aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal. While this is just my speculation, I would be entirely unsurprised if it was to appear soon as a premium carrier.

You can check out the video below, alongside a second showcasing how the model of the Japanese battleship Yamato was revamped for version 0.8.3 of the game.

World of Warships is currently available for PC, while World of Warships: Legends has just entered early access for PS4 and Xbox One.

The game isn’t new to collaborations, and wargaming recently announced one with Azur Lane, even if we still don’t know if it’s coming to the western servers at all.
