Despite the tangible levels of anticipation for the game, Activision and Infinity Ward have shown relatively little footage of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered in action.

Thankfully, that’s changed today, as an extended gameplay demo was released via the Call of Duty YouTube page.

The entirety of one of the game’s most famous missions, “Crew Expendable”, is shown off in the video below, so check it out for yourself.

As you can see, there are plenty of new water, lighting and facial animation effects on display throughout the play-through, and it looks as though the remastered version of this critically acclaimed classic is coming along very nicely indeed.

Unfortunately, you’ll need to purchase the premium version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for $80, if you want to play Modern Warfare Remastered when it releases this November 4th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

In addition to the campaign seen above, Modern Warfare Remastered will also include the classic multiplayer mode from the original game, only this time the online fights will be limited to just 12 playable maps.
