Super Mario Run, the endless running game came out on Dec. 15 for iOS just in time for Christmas but was notably absent from Android. For those anxiously awaiting, Nintendo just sent out a tweet with a confirmed release date for next week, Mar. 23.
Android version of #SuperMarioRun will be available on 3/23 with the Ver.2.0.0 update! Pre-register now: https://t.co/dAxzTlppnG pic.twitter.com/nQ0T4znOBt

While Super Mario Run is free to download, it functions more as a demo, with most of the content locked behind a paywall. The Android version will launch at version 2.0.0, a much more polished game than it was compared to launch. The version will include recent updates like the inclusion of an easy mode. For anyone interested, they can pre-register here or simply wait until the game is available on the Google Play Store.
