Shinji Mikami’s The Evil Within 2 is a pretty fantastic exercise in horror, and if you haven’t yet pulled the trigger on it since there were so many other great games that game out in the last few months, you’d be forgiven. But there’s hope for you yet, as you can try out a special trial of the game right now that spans the first few chapter for free. If you’re not doing anything this weekend, you might want to sit down and give it a fair shake.

You’ll be able to access the customization menu for Sebastian to kit him out the way you want to, and you can also explore the streets of Union while you’re playing. Best of all, your save data will carry over to the full game if you decide to purchase a copy of the full title on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

There’s also a new trailer you can check out with accolades and some particularly illuminating, creepy moments from the game that may inspire you to either pull the blankets up over your face extra tightly or jump on your platform of choice to play the game. It all depends on how big of a horror fan you are, probably.
