Tricolour Lovestory Gets Cute PS4 Dynamic Theme, and It’s Free

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

If you like visual novels and enjoy PS4 themes, you have come to the right place, but this time it’s about something a bit different: Tricolour Lovestory.

Dramatic Create is launching Tricolour Lovestory for PS4 in Japan, and to celebrate, they just released a free dynamic theme on the local PlayStation Store.

You can find it on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Of course, a Japanese PSN account is required to download the theme, but once it’s installed, you can use it on any account as long as the PS4 is set as primary.

You can see what it looks like in the video below.

As you can see, the theme comes with its own animations, music, custom icons, and all the jazz. Considering that it’s completely free, that’s not bad at all.

What’s different about this is that Tricolour Lovestory actually isn’t a Japanese visual novel, but it was developed in China by HL-Galgame.

The game itself is available with English subtitles on Steam only, for now, while the voice acting is fully in Chinese, which is rather unique in its own right. It also features a 1-million-word script, which is quite sizable.

While I haven’t had time to play it yet, I heard very good things about it. In the meanwhile, you can grab yourself the theme.
