2K Celebrates XCOM 2’s Launch With This Awesome Cake

XCOM 2 is out today and to celebrate, publisher 2K has had this awesome cake created. We’ve seen some cool video game themed cakes in the past and this one ranks among the best.

The entire alien skull is edible while the shoulders act as the base. The skull sponge cake is covered in hundreds of fondant icing skulls which is a detail that must have driven the creator mad. This is more than a mere cake, it’s a work of art!

The cake was first revealed on 2K’s Twitter account (via VideoGamer). Hope they save us a slice!
