Battlefield 1 players will be rewarded with a unique World War I inspired skin in Titanfall 2.
Revealed today via a tweet from Titanfalls official Twitter page, it announced that players who purchase both of the EA published games will receive the red baron warpaint skin for their titans in Titanfall 2. Battlefield 1 released last Friday, October 21, while Titanfall hits store shelves later this week. It’s a nice bonus for those who want to put time into both experiences.

Both games are first person shooters, but with very different core mechanics and settings. Battlefield 1 grounds players in a gritty representation of the first world war, replete with weapons and vehicles from the time. Titanfall 2 on the other hand, is a bombastic sci-fi adventure set in the Frontier – a war-torn section of space. Players will wall run and double jump through environments, as well as pilot giant mechs called Titans.
Battlefield 1 is doing quite well, being praised by many as the best entry the series has ever seen. The move to WWI was a breath of fresh air that reinvigorated many a player. For more on the game, read our review.
The jury is still out on Titanfall 2, but we were impressed with the open betas earlier this year that gave us a sampling of what to expect from the game’s many multiplayer modes.
Titanfall 2 releases October 28, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
