Quick and agile, her move set relies on aggressive charges and quick follow ups. A flurry of kicks and strikes from her tail can be followed up with devastating energy blasts, emptying an opponent’s life bar in no time flat. She can also disorient and break up the flow of an opponent’s movements, stunning them with a main sweets laser or an ariel bombardment super attack.

Most interesting of all, though, is that she can absorb the abilities of those she hits with an impaling beam strike. After landing the attack on an opponent, she steals their ground or arial special attack, from Goku’s Kamehameha wave to Piccolo’s Light Grenade.

An entirely new character made for the game, Android 21 acts as the primary antagonist of Dragon Ball FighterZ. A former researcher for the Red Ribbon Army, she seeks to absorb and devour the strongest warriors on the planet to make herself the strongest. Akira Toriyama, the creator of the Dragon Ball franchise, created her character and design himself.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to launch Jan. 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For our thoughts on how the game has looked leading up to launch, read up on our impressions from the most recent beta.
