The Witcher 3 Receives Graphical, Stability Patch on PS4 and PS4 Pro

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro owners have another reason to never stop playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, courtesy of a new patch.

Now available for download, the patch offers several performance tweaks and graphical enhancements. In addition to HDR support, it offers stability fixes for crashes and localization errors encountered by players. Likewise, it offers basic performance enhancements to the overall game, helping to ensure players continue to be enraptured by the game’s massive world for however many hundreds of hours with less slowdown and frame rate issues.

Originally released May 19, 2015, The Witcher 3 follows Geralt of Rivia as he tries to find his adopted daughter Ciri before she is captured by the Wild Hunt, an otherworldly force looking to capture her and harness her powers. The game has enjoyed praise from critics and fans alike for its story, expansive world and enjoyable characters, and the game’s iconic protagonist has even crossed over into other properties as a playable character in the upcoming Soul Calibur 6.
