The twin-stick, dungeon crawling shooter that is Enter the Gungeon has been out on the Nintendo Switch eShop for about two weeks now, and it seems that the indie title has “surpassed all expectations” by selling more than 75,000 copies. Developed by Dodge Roll Games and published by Devolver Digital, Enter the Gungeon throws players in dungeons with multiple floors and a variety of enemies to defeat as well as procedurally generated treasure to find.

We keep hearing so many good things about sales on the eShop when it comes to these indie titles. It seems that developers are so gung-ho on what the Switch can offer players, that they have no reason to not port their titles over to the hybrid console. We’re sure that this news spells out a bright future for other unique developers that are attempting to bring their titles (new and old) to the Nintendo Switch.

Enter the Gungeon is now available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
