The Evil Within was originally released back in 2014 and received a strong response from critics and gamers who enjoyed its creepy atmosphere and survival horror mechanics. Last month, at Bethesda’s E3 conference, The Evil Within 2 was announced and is set to be released later this year.
If you can’t wait to go on another journey through hell, then you’ll be pleased to learn that an Evil Within comic series is set to be released ahead of the sequel. As CultureJam reports, the comics will bridge the gap between the first and second game and focus on a case that our hero, detective Sebastian Castellanos, takes on that may be connected to his misfortune.
The first issue will be released on September 6 and is being written by Ryan O’Sullivan (Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, Turncoat), and illustrated by artists Damien Worm (The October Faction) and Szymon Kudranski (30 Days of Night Annual, Spawn).
The Evil Within 2 is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 13, which just happens to be a Friday!
