Sony Reveals Special PS1-Style Box For Upcoming Wipeout Collection

Sony has revealed a special PS1-themed box art for the upcoming release of the Wipeout: Omega Collection which this Summer. This alternative box art makes the remaster look like it did the series made its debut back in 1995.

As you can see from the pictures, the design is styled to look like classic PlayStation games with the big black bar and the original PlayStation logo. So far it seems this edition is only available to customers in the UK who order the game from the online retailer ShopTo.

It has yet to be confirmed whether this special cover will be available in other territories so you may need to import it if you live outside the UK. Wipeout: Omega Collection is set to be released on the PlayStation 4 on June 7.
