Be Still My Heart: SEGA’s TGS Lineup Includes Persona 5

Try not to get your heart stolen.
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

SEGA’s lineup for the 2016 Tokyo Game Show has been revealed and on the card for the weekend is none other than Persona 5. For folks living and playing games in Japan that’s not a huge deal, considering the game will be out already by then (Sept. 15.). However, for fans such as myself living in the United States attending TGS this year, this will probably be our only chance to play and preview the game before its worldwide release on Feb. 14. In other words, it’s kind of a big deal.

We learned a little bit more about Persona 5 at E3 2016 this year, but TGS 2016 will be our opportunity to really dig into it, and get a feel for the game.

While playable Persona 5 is awesome, there are some other notable games appearing via SEGA and Atlus as well. The full lineup has been revealed courtesy of Gematsu, and it includes other anticipated titles such as Valkyria: Azure Revolution and Yakuza 6. Notably missing unfortunately is Sonic Mania. The blue blur must still be recovering from his insane 25th anniversary party earlier this summer.

Check out SEGA’s full TGS lineup below (again, courtesy of Gematsu), and be on the look out in September for our coverage of the event.
