Bandai Namco has launched the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the Tales Of JRPG series.Â
The franchise debuted on December 15, 1995 with Tales of Phantasia, spawning a ton of beloved JRPG titles since.Â
Today we get a brief trailer introducing the celebration, while the official Twitter account mentions that there is “a lot” planned over the coming months.Â
“Join us in celebrating Tales of, one of the most iconic Japanese RPG series of all time! We have a lot planned for you to enjoy over the coming months, but for now, explore the history of the Tales of games on our site!“
You can watch the trailer below, including a mention of Tales of Arise, which has recently been delayed.
At the moment, we don’t know when Tales of Arise will be released, but it has been announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
It’ll be interesting to see whether it’ll also be released on the next generation of console following the delay.
At the moment, we know nothing on the topic, but Bandai Namco recently announced its “Play Anime Live” event coming later this month, and Tales of Arise might be featured in some form even if it’s not strictly anime-related.
