Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will feature an alternate storyline that takes place in the same world of Alola – you’ll also be able to catch some Pokemon that weren’t originally available as well.

Not many details were shared during the direct itself, but you can check out the trailer right here:

Nintendo also announced Pokken Tournament DX for the Nintendo Switch and a 3DS Virtual Console release for Pokemon Gold and Silver.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will have a worldwide simultaneous release on November 17, 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Unfortunately, the title will not be coming to the Nintendo Switch like some rumors suggested.

Excited to jump into the Alola region again? Let us know how you feel about these enhanced versions of Sun and Moon!
