Felt burned out from the token grinding in Destiny 2? You’ll find out next week if Bungie has enough changes planned to get you playing again as the developers will detail the in-game economy tweaks in Destiny 2’s December update On Twitter, game director Luke Smith said Bungie will tackle the changes for gear acquisition from vendors. It will also discuss the new rewards system for obtaining weapons and armors. “Next week the Destiny 2 team will detail the systems side of the December update,” said Smith. “It includes: economy updates (vendors & acquiring their gear, tokens, legendary shards), investment updates (new reward systems for weapons & armor), gameplay updates, and more.” Smith adds that both he and project lead Mark Noseworthy will “be answering some questions and addressing community feedback we’ve been reading since launch.” One of the issues to discussed will likely involve the controversy with Destiny 2’s XP cooldown, with Bungie announcing recently that XP gains will now scale up when participation in more time-consuming activities. The Destiny 2 December update will also bring more content and features for everyone. Aside from increasing the player level from 20 to 25 and adjusting the Power Level cap from 300 to 330, the December update will also add HDR and 4K support for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris launches on December 5, 2017.
