The 1.8 update for Ubisoft’s action role-playing game Tom Clancy’s The Division goes live for all platforms tomorrow, bringing new game modes, gear, and bug fixes in the free update. The “Resistance” update adds a cooperative mode of the same name where up to four players fight endless waves of enemies in the new West Side Pier area. The other new mode, Skirmish, is a competitive multiplayer mode where two teams of four try to get the most kills before the timer runs out. Check out the long list of changes in the 1.8 update here. According to Ubisoft, the update will be applied during server maintenance at 3:00 a.m. ET. The servers will be down for approximately three and a half hours. Ubisoft is celebrating the massive update by making all three season pass add-ons – Underground, Survival, and Last Stand – free for all The Division players from Dec. 5 to Dec. 10. The game will also receive a free weekend, including the base game and all DLC, on every platform starting Thursday, Dec. 7 until Dec. 10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJCJme9ILPs&has_verified=1
