Today Cloud Imperim Games released a new video of its space simulator Star Citizen, focusing on features coming in alpha 3.8.
We get to see the new interiors created for the Rest Stop Space Station, letting players enjoy different locales in different stations.Â
On top of that we take a look specifically at the food courts, that will add more color to those interiors and will also feel different in every space station.
Lastly, we get to see new annunciator panel sthat will be added to ship cockpits, offering a quicker and more intuitive read on some of the most relevant warnings that you may want to notice on the double.
In other Star Citizen news, the crowdfunding total has now passed a staggering 239 million dollars. To be more precise, it’s now sitting at $239,168,868.Â
It’s certainly impressive that despite the ability to purchase (and now even rent) ships within the game with credits you earn by playing, the fanbase still appears to be very willing to keep supporting Star Citizen by purchasing more ships with real money.Â
At the moment of this writing, 2,386,900 accounts have been created, while we don’t know how many of those actually pledged money in favor of the game.Â
You can enjoy the video below. Star Citizen recently received its alpha 3.7 update, and you can read all that it brought to the table.
For the sake of full disclosure, you should keep in mind that the author of this article has been among the backers of Star Citizen since the original Kickstarter campaign a long time ago.
