A free copy of the platformer can be downloaded from Steam by simply visiting the game’s store page and clicking on the “Install Game” button. The entire franchise is also on sale, including the recently released remake of the original called Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty. The remake features new visuals, enhanced audio, and improved gameplay.

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee can also be downloaded from GOG, though it does not come with a Steam key. The GOG copy is DRM-free, which does not require a game client to launch and play. Anyone with account can get it here, while GOG is offering a sale on over 200 games up to 90% off.

Additionally, you can get another free copy of the game through the Humble Store, which is currently having its End of Summer Sale with discounts on thousands of games. Both the free offer and the sale ends on Thursday, Sept. 21, while the Steam key must be redeemed by Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. / 1 p.m. ET or will disappear. The deadline for the game on Steam and GOG is also on Sept. 21, so be sure to act quickly.
