Soul Hackers 2

Atlus just released a new trailer of the upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2, and it’s definitely a peculiar one.

With yesterday’s trailer, we thought that the developer was going to release one trailer a day until release introducing every demon in the game as they did with Shin Megami Tensei V, but today they’ve thrown a curveball.

Indeed, the developer promised that we’re getting daily trailers again, but they’re not going to be all about demons. Today we get to see one of the locations of the game, “Pizza Bon Appetite” (a mix of Italian and French that you could realistically find in Tokyo), with heroine and Aion agent Ringo providing a description of a Pizza Marinara.

In the end, we even get a horoscope, with zodiac signs ranked for the day. If you’re a Virgo, lucky you, but if you’re Aquarius, you better be careful.

You can check it out below.

Soul Hackers 2 releases for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Windows Store) on August 26, just one day after the Japanese launch on August 25.

You can check out the original trailer and plenty of screenshots.

Here’s how Atlus officially describes the game:

“Soul Hackers 2 inherits the essence of Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker, while evolving the game concept with a more defined art style, addictive RPG gameplay and ATLUS’s next-level storytelling. Set in the Shin Megami Tensei universe, Soul Hackers 2 follows a brand new story about two Agents of Aion, Ringo and Figure, and their fight to stop the destruction of the world.

Produced and directed by Eiji Ishida and Mitsuru Hirata, other featured staff includes music composed by MONACA, character designs by Shirow Miwa and Production Manager Shinjiro Takata,”
