Resident Evil Code Veronica X will be dropping onto the PS4 this week as part of the PS2 Classics library. Code Veronica originally released on the Sega Dreamcast back in 2000 and this port is of the updated version that later came to the PS2, GameCube, Xbox 360, and then to the PS3. Code Veronica X featured updated graphics and new cutscenes that made the overall package much better.

The story follows Claire Redfield and Chris Redfield who are both attempting to survive a viral outbreak at Rockfort Island and at a research facility in Antarctica. It takes place a few months after Resident Evil 2 and contains some interconnecting plot points with Resident Evil 3: Nemesis as well.

Resident Evil Code Veronica X will be available for download next week on PS4. Grab it starting May 9 in North America and May 10 in Europe.
