Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is coming to Xbox One on April 11 as we already know, and now we get to take a look at what it might look and feel like on the console. On Xbox One X, Hellblade is going to feature support for high dynamic range with an enhanced visuals mode that includes “extra FX” and “visual quality,” with a higher frame rate mode that runs at 60 fps or an HDR mode with dynamic resolutions up to 4K.
There isn’t a price point for the game just yet, but considering the game is $29.9 on PlayStation 4 and PC, it will likely follow the same pricing structure. If you’ve never played Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, know the it’s Ninja Theory’s first independent release that follows the tale of Senua, who’s on a quest to retrieve her lost lover’s soul as she grapples with mental illness, including disembodied voices and other strange hallucinations that hinder her progress along the way.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a one-of-a-kind game that’s even won awards for its depiction of mental illness and what its characters must struggle with, so it’s absolutely worth giving a try, even if it doesn’t seem like your kind of game.
