PS4 Exclusive Project Sakura Wars Getting News and First Gameplay Next Week

Today Sega announced that next week it’ll finally deliver news about the upcoming Sakura Taisen game code-named Project Sakura Wars.

A livestream has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, and it’ll run between 8:00 pm Japan time and 9:30 pm. It’ll be presented by Yohei Azakami, who voices hero Seijiro Kamiyama. Producer Tetsu Katano will also be in attendance.

According to the announcement, the livestream will deliver plenty of new information about the game, and it’ll show gameplay for the first time.

The game will release coming in 2019 in Japan, while western fans will have to wait for 2020 for a localization. At the moment, it has been announced only for PlayStation 4.
