Sony Interactive Entertainment has provided plenty of beauty shots of the PS5’s controller, named the DualSense. Yet, real-life looks are quite scarce.
Today Summer Game Fest organizer Geoff Keighley posted a quick video on Twitter showcasing the new controller in the flesh (or plastic).
We also learn that tomorrow at noon EDT or 9:00 am PDT, a new livestream will showcase Keighley’s hands-on time with the controller.
In the meanwhile, you can check out the clip below.
If you’re not up-to-date on the DualSense, here’s how PlayStation boss Jim Ryan himself described it.
“DualSense marks a radical departure from our previous controller offerings and captures just how strongly we feel about making a generational leap with PS5. The new controller, along with the many innovative features in PS5, will be transformative for games – continuing our mission at PlayStation to push the boundaries of play, now and in the future. To the PlayStation community, I truly want to thank you for sharing this exciting journey with us as we head toward PS5’s launch in Holiday 2020. We look forward to sharing more information about PS5, including the console design, in the coming months.”
The DualSense is set to release alongside the PS5 sometime in the Holiday season 2020.
