Pokemon Let’s Go and God of War Among Best-Sellers Online on Black Friday According to Adobe

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Every year, Adobe analysis arm Adobe Insights utilizes its Experience Cloud in order to gauge the best-selling products at online retail in the Holidays shopping battle. This year’s Black Friday sees games strongly positioned close to the top.

Looking at Black Friday itself Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! is the best-ranked video game in fourth place, while God of War follows suit. Interestingly, no console appears in the list here.

That being said, we also get the data for Thanksgiving, which you can see below. Interestingly, a lot of buyers appear not to have waited for Black Friday to grab Nintendo’s new console, likely expecting it to sell out. Another game appears in the list, and it’s Red Dead Redemption 2 in fourth place.

Do keep in mind that this is only for online retail and e-commerce, so it’s by no means a final result on which games and consoles will end up on top. We’ll have to wait for the NPD results on December 18th to have a clearer picture of who really won the Black Friday shopping rush, especially considering that there is still Cyber Monday.

Of course, as soon as the NPD releases its results, you’ll be able to find them here on Twinfinite.
