Following Target’s accidental leak earlier this week, Sony has now confirmed through the official PlayStation Blog that the PlayStation 4 will be getting a price drop in time for the holidays. In fact, the $50 discount ($20 in Canada) takes effect incredibly soon – this Friday, Oct. 9. They’ve even provided a handy pricing chart which details the price drop for all of the PlayStation 4’s bundles, including several upcoming packs with new games.
Whether you’re more keen for the action of Uncharted, the shoot-shoot-bang-bang of Call of Duty, or the family fun of Disney Infinity, Sony’s got you covered with bundles for nearly every genre this holiday season. Are you planning to grab the PlayStation 4 now that it’ll be a bit more affordable? Let us know in the comments!
