New Berserk Gameplay Video Features Guts and His Berserker Armor Transformation

Time to go berserk!

Koei Tecmo has just released a new gameplay video for the upcoming Berserk video game adaption which, quite frankly, cannot come soon enough. The devs have already revealed that each playable character will get special transformation powers which they can activate once they’ve, well, once they’ve killed enough people on the battlefield, and this will allow them to unleash devastating attacks onto their enemies. Kind of like the Musou powers in the Dynasty Warriors games. Anyway, you can check out the new video down below.

As you can see, Guts’ special transformation power allows him to don the badass Berserker armor, and basically go berserk (sorry) on his foes. The armor is looking pretty sweet, though I wonder if he’ll have other types of transformation powers in the early sections of the game, before he actually receives the cool armor set.

Berserk is set to be released for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on October 27 in Japan. The game has also been slated for a 2016 release in North America, and it will be coming to the PS4, PS Vita, and PC via Steam.
