In the brief video clocking in at just under a minute and a half, we see Link lighting a torch at a campfire to ignite his little cooking furnace. He then proceeds to select the ingredients he wishes to cook, and after a brief moment of a mushroom and a radish bouncing up and down in the pan, he is granted with Hearty Steamed Mushrooms.

Of course, eating food has benefits for Link. In this instance, eating the steamed mushrooms provides full health recovery, as well as temporarily increasing the amount of hearts in his health bar. In another instance, Link cooks himself some spicy peppers to increase his body temperature to better withstand the cold.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is expected to land on Wii U and Nintendo’s mysterious NX console somewhere in 2017.
