Overwatch Celebrates Halloween with a Horde Mode Brawl Against Dr. Junkenstein’s Twisted Creations

IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

It’s the month of Halloween, and Overwatch is getting into the spirit of the season. Along with the new holiday themed costumes, there’s going to be the first ever PvE brawl for the series, dubbed Junkenstein’s Revenge. If you’ve read the comics based on the game, you’ll be familiar with Junkrat’s scientific counterpart: once employed by the Lord of Adlersbrunn, Jamison Junkenstein was a brilliant scientist and inventor who ended up creating a Monster that players will go up against, along with the Reaper, a witch, and shambling “zomnics.”

Four players will work together to combat this new threat as one of four different heroes: the Alchemist (Ana), the Archer (Hanzo), the Gunslinger (McCree), and the Soldier (Soldier: 76). You’ll have to defend Aldersbrunn’s castle from the horde of zomnics, then bunker down even more when the Reaper or the Monster shows up. It wouldn’t be a brawl if you didn’t have tough odds, right?

Junkenstein’s Revenge is available now for Overwatch players who download the new patch. Happy hunting!
