A video released on Bethesda’s YouTube channel has shed more light on what players can expect from Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.

Originally announced at E3 earlier this year, fans were unsure what exactly the title would be. We now know that it will be a completely standalone experience featuring a new playable character and serving as the finale for this leg of the Dishonored story.

The Outsider has been a prevalent source in the series since the first game, giving Corvo his supernatural abilities that allowed him to get his revenge. Taking control of Billie Lurk, players will wield the otherworldly abilities that have become a staple of the series and will work to bring down the powerful Outsider, putting an end to his mischievous ways.

The teams at Arkane and Bethesda also emphasized that Death of the Outsider has been designed to be incredibly approachable. It can be a continuation of the series for longtime fans, or an entry point for those interested in what it has to offer.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will be available September 15 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
