Nioh: Complete Edition, the PC port of the game, just got a new patch meant to help improve both matchmaking and overall performance issues. As a result, the game’s more stable overall, and the Matching Area setting no longer limits you to playing with others in your predetermined location.

Patch 1.21.02 is actually the game’s second patch, following the first one the was released last week, and its full patch notes are as follows:
- Fixed an issue in which changing the “Matching Area” in online settings to “Unlimited” would still result in being limited to your own area.
- Fixed an issue in which an error would occur while saving data if there was no C drive.
- Improved performance when the “Shadows” option is set to “High Quality” in the graphics settings.
Nioh: Complete Edition comes with all the previously available DLC for the title, which originally made its debut on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Not to beat a dead horse and say it’s a Souls-like, but if you enjoy Dark Souls and Bloodborne or games of that ilk, you’ll like this game too.
