Today, during their Pokemon Direct, Nintendo confirmed what we learned yesterday: Pokemon Sun and Moon are indeed a thing. During a cute trailer showcasing the globalism that the series has had over the past 20 years, CEO of the Pokemon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara showed off the two logos for the game. Both titles are set for a holiday 2016 release.

What’s more, when Sun and Moon release on the 3DS, both will come with nine language options to choose from: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. The reason for doing so was, as Ishihara put it, “to allow for even more people to enjoy the games…players can select from any of these nine languages when they begin playing the game.” Nintendo wants to use Pokemon so players can get over language barriers and connect all over the world.

No official footage was shown, sadly, but at least we know it’s real! Excited? Let us know in the comments below.
