Bandai Namco’s upcoming RPG developed by Level 5 is coming to both PlayStation 4 and PC in March, but there are plenty of opportunities to get an eyeful of the sprawling title ahead of its release, like with this new 25-minute chunk of gameplay that shows of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom in all its colorful glory.

The video is split into two parts, from The Battle for the Heartlands at the beginning to One Good Turn Deserves Another for the second half. The first half shows protagonist Evan as he looks for a kingdom to rule and smashes through the enemies who’d stand in his way. The second half finds Evan on his way to prove that he’s more than fit to rule the kingdom. You also get to meet a few other characters as well, all integral to the journey as a whole.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is going to be just as large and beautiful of a journey, no doubt, as the original game, so if you’re a fan of traditional JRPGs you might want to clear your schedule for when it drops this spring. It’s going to take you a while to wade through, for sure.
