It’s the Super Bowl weekend, so it’s not surprising that there are some themed trailers and ads popping up, like this Xbox one just released by Microsoft.
The trailer involves two players from the opposing teams that are going to face off tomorrow, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, with Xbox general manager for Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg tagging along .
Interestingly, we get to hear both players’ history with Xbox and gaming, and it appears that it’s quite a long history.
More in general, we hear the answers to five questions, of course also throwing in one about Madden NFL.
- What does the Super Bowl mean to you?
- What does Xbox mean to you?
- If you were playing Madden and knew you were a character… would you pick them?
- What do you wish for each other?
- Why is Xbox at the Super Bowl?
You can check out the trailer for yourself below.
Speaking of Xbox, we just heard from Microsoft about the financial performance of its gaming business.
While sales are obviously declining due to the end of the generation, Satya Nadella boasted record monthly active users for Xbox Live and Game Pass subscribers doubled year-on-year.
