New Muv-Luv Photonmelodies Screenshots Show English Localization in Progress

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

While Muv-Luv Photonflowers should release on steam soon, today we get to take a look at the localization of Muv-Luv Photonmelodies.

The new screenshots were shared on Twitter by Localization Director Evan Ward [source: 1, 2, 3], who also mentioned that the team is already hard at work on localizing the game.

Photonmelodies is the second Muv-Luv side-story compilation originally released for PS3, that is currently being localized and ported to PC by Anchor. It’s also arguably the best, including the (assumed) Muv-Luv Alternative sequel Kagayaku Toki ga Kienumani, Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles Resurrection, and my personal favorite Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles Aspiration, which provides a more extensive look on the European front.

At the moment we don’t have a release date, but you can take a look below. All the screenshots are from Kagayaku Toki ga Kienumani (the title has been unofficially translated before as Before the Shimmering Time Ends).

In the meanwhile, a beta of Photonflowers has been made available to Kickstarter backers a while ago.

f you don’t know what Muv-Luv is all about, it’s arguably one of the best visual novel series of all time. You can already find Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv: Alternative on Steam and on PS Vita. If you’d like to know more, you can read our interview with creator Kouki Yoshimune.
