Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You released just this year, but it seems that The Pokemon Company has already released a new teaser trailer for the next big Pokemon movie. The placeholder for the title of the movie is “Pokemon The Movie 2018” but we can expect for that to change in the coming months.

Looking at the short trailer, we can see that this new film continues from the past movie “I Choose You” and seems to expand on this new saga. The style of the movie looks to be a little bit different from the past films, sporting a more “anime” style that gives Ash a mature look that we haven’t seen before. The trailer also plays Lugia’s theme song from “The Power of One,” which hints at the possibility that we will see Ash’s adventures through the Johto region.

Pokemon The Movie 2018 is set to premiere in Japan on July 13, 2018. We have no information on when the movie will be showing in the Americas, but stay tuned for more updates as the movie comes closer to release. You can check out the trailer right here:
